BEVERLY – Mr. Edward Joseph Cloutman Sr., 78, of Beverly died unexpectedly October 1, 2019 at Beverly hospital.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Joseph Ernest and Helen Mary (Lessor) Cloutman. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Airforce.

Mr. Cloutman had been employed with the General Electric Company for many years until the time of his retirement.

A long-time resident of the City of Beverly, Ed had a passion for antique cars. He enjoyed family get together and making news friends. He will be deeply missed.

Ed is survived by his sons, Edward Cloutman Jr and his wife Pamela of Peabody and David Cloutman of Beverly, his 6 grandchildren, his 1 great grandchild, his brother John Cloutman of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Silva and Phillip and Jimmy Cloutman.
